He Chun Signature Label debut on new Silver Dragon bullion coin
Numismatic Guaranty Company® (NGC®) has signed an exclusive agreement with He Chun, the designer of China’s Dragon bullion coins. Under this agreement, He Chun will hand-sign certification labels only for NGC.
As a result, collectors can now pair his artwork with an official NGC Signature Label. This label debuts on the 2025 Silver Dragon bullion coin.
The 2025 Silver Dragon contains 1 troy ounce of silver. Therefore, it meets a global bullion standard recognized by collectors and investors alike.
He Chun and China’s Modern Coin Designs
He Chun works as a coin designer for Shenzhen Guobao Mint Co. Ltd. The mint operates under the People’s Bank of China. Over time, his designs have gained international attention.
Most recently, he designed the 2025 Silver 2 Yuan coin for the 9th Asian Winter Games. Previously, he also worked on the 2023 Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains coin series.
Meanwhile, demand for China’s Dragon bullion coins continues to grow. Collectors first saw the 2025 Silver Dragon at major international coin shows, where it drew strong interest.
Signature Label and Custom Core Details
The NGC certification label displays He Chun’s authentic hand signature. This feature directly connects the coin to its designer. In addition, the label includes the word for dragon, “loong,” in both English and Chinese.
NGC also paired the label with a custom core featuring a golden dragon. This design complements the obverse of the coin. On the reverse of the holder, the core reflects the Great Wall theme, which appears on the back of the Silver Dragon.
