Those being honored at Professional Coin Grading Service are multiple-time inductees.
Two longtime figures at Professional Coin Grading Service were recently recognized by Coin World when the popular magazine announced its 2025 list of Most Influential People in Numismatics. The honors, which annually name 100 of the top professionals in the numismatic hobby, went to PCGS President Stephanie Sabin and PCGS Founder & Senior Grader Gordon Wrubel. Each has been recognized multiple times as Coin World’s Most Influential People, with Sabin receiving the prestigious nod three times and Wrubel notching his fourth such recognition.
“It is such an honor to be recognized among the many luminaries on the Coin World Most Influential People in Numismatics list,” said PCGS President Stephanie Sabin. “I thank all who nominated and selected me for this recognition once again, which is something I don’t take for granted. Being bestowed with this honor only compels me to continue working even harder and striving further to serve our hobby as best I can, both in my capacity as PCGS president and as someone who has a deep passion for numismatics.”
“I thank my colleagues for awarding me this great honor,” said Wrubel, who cofounded PCGS in 1986 and serves as a senior grader.
The Coin World Most Influential People in Numismatics list, which debuted in 2021, honors individuals from all corners of the hobby, including business professionals, graders, dealers, collectors, publishers, journalists, and others who positively impact the numismatic community. Coin World’s recognition in its annual list of influential people is a significant personal and career achievement for each inductee and an important acknowledgement of their continuing service to the hobby.
